The North Pacific & Guanacaste Region of Costa Rica has much to offer the traveler. Remnants of Costa Rica's rich cultural heritage can be found in the costumes and music of the people here. For the nature lover the Beaches of Santa Rosa National Park are the nesting grounds for several varieties of sea turtles, including the world's largest, the giant leatherback.

 

For the adventurous, Caveras del Venado and Barra Honda offer miles of world class caves to explore. At Barra Honda you'll enter the caves by donning a harness and repelling down 80 ft. into the main chamber!

 

At Rincon de la Vieja you'll be able to hike to the top of a 6,284
