Traveling to Costa Rica

Every year hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world treat themselves to the beauty of Costa Rica, making tourism one of the country’s main sources of income.
If you plan on discovering Costa Rica, for the first time or all over again, make sure you, your family and your pets have all traveling documents to enter the country and a visa if you are required one. It is also important to find out what you are allowed to take into the country without paying duties.
Temporary import of automotive terrestrial, aerial, and marine vehicles to Costa Rica for non-lucrative aims is allowed.
There is no restriction on the amount of money that you can bring to Costa Rica, but you have to declare it if it exceeds US$ 10,000.00.
