The shimmering waters of Lake Arenal offer a spectacular change of pace. From boating and fishing to windsurfing and kayaking Lake Arenal has it - all within the backdrop of an active volcano at the end of the lake.

Speaking of which Volcano Arenal is one of the most active volcanoes in the world, with almost daily fireworks to delight the visitor. In the town of La Fortuna, you'll find waterfalls, horseback riding and of course the world famous hot springs of Tabacon, where the weary traveler can relax in Jacuzzi temperature waters, heated courtesy of the volcano!

And let's not forget the Sarapiqui River, where you'll enjoy white water rafting or sailing along the river into Nicaragua.
