Recipe in ESPANOL: Sorrel (Flor de Jamaica)

Sorrel is a famous Costa Rica Beverage and popular with the locals.
Also known as Flor de Jamaica (Jamaican Flower) Written in Spanish.

INGREDIENTES:  

  • ¼ kilo de jengibre

  • ½ kilo de hoja de Jamaica

  • 2 litros de agua

  • Azścar

PROCEDIMIENTO:

 

  1. Lavar bien la hoja de Jamaica, majarlo y hervir durante 15 minutos.

  2. Raspar y lavar el jengibre.  

  3. Rallar y agregar a la hoja de Jamaica hervida.

  4. Cernir

  5. Agregar azścar al gusto.

  6. Servir con cubitos de hielo.
