Costa Rica Refuge Playa Hermosa

In February, 2010, in coordination with the Municipality of Garabito, the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad and the Management of the Wildlife Refuge Playa Hermosa Punta Mala, the ambitious project to equip the Refuge with telephone lines, internet and electricity was undertaken.

Thanks to the leading role played by the Municipality of Garabito, the cable connection became a reality. Today after years of waiting: the Wildlife Refuge Playa Hermosa finally has a telephone line!

BUENAS NUEVAS DEL REFUGIO DEL VIDA SILVESTRE PLAYA HERMOSA. En febrero del 2010 en coordinación con la Municipalidad de Garabito, el Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad y la administración del Refugio de Vida Silvestre Playa Hermosa-Punta Mala, se llevó a cabo el ambicioso proyecto para equipar el refugio de líneas de teléfono, internet y electricidad. Gracias al papel protagónico desempeñado por la Municipalidad de Garabito, el cable de conexión es hoy toda una realidad. Hoy después de años de espera: el Refugio de Vida Silvestre Playa Hermosa finalmente cuenta con línea de teléfono fijo.
