This collection of thatch-roofed bungalows is right in front of Costa Rica's famous Playa Negra point break. Even if you're not a surfer, you'll appreciate the beautiful beach and coast with its coral and rock outcroppings and calm tide pools. The round bungalows each have one queen-size and two single beds, two desks, a ceiling fan, and a private bathroom. Although they have concrete floors, everything is painted in contrasting pastels and feels quite comfortable. The restaurant is close to the ocean in a large open-air rancho and serves as a social hub for guests and surfers staying at more basic cabinas inland from the beach.
