Costa Rica's Gasoline Prices to Drop

We can all look forward to filling up the tank for a little less. Costa Rica's public utilities regulator, Aresep, is due to reduce gasoline prices in the upcoming week.

The proposed changes will bring gasoline prices down: Super will go from ¢627 per liter to ¢593; Regular will drop from ¢599 to ¢566; Diesel from ¢535 to ¢495.

The cost of natural gas, aviation fuel and kerosene will also drop.

Once approved, the new prices will take affect within 5 days.
