Local Jaco resident, José Ureña, President of the Costa Rica Surf Federation (FSC) is gearing up the national team to leave next month to the Costa da Caparica in Portugal.
The list of the surfers representing Costa Rica has been published and are as follows: In the Open Category: Gilbert Brown, Luis Vindas, Jason Torres, Germaine Myrie, Matías Braun (substitute) and Isaac Vega (substitute).
In the Women's category: Lisbeth Vindas, Nataly Bernold, and Verónica Quirós (substitute) In the Longboard Category: Diego Naranjo and Cristian Santamaría (substitute).
In the Boogie Women's Category: Jimena Calvo and Cindy Díaz (substitute) and in the Boggie Men's Category: Richard Marín, Yeffrey Gómez and Walter Gatgens (substitute) Almost all of these participants can be seen practicing in Jaco beach and Playa Hermosa!
El residente, José Ureña, Presidente de la Federación de Surf de Costa Rica (FSC) está preparando al equipo nacional para viajar el próximo mes a la Costa da Caparica en Portugal. La lista de surfistas que irán en representación de Costa Rica se ha publicado y son los siguientes: en la categoría Open: Gilbeth Brown, Luis Vindas, Jason Torres, Germanie Myrie, Matias Braun (sustituto) e Isaac Vega (sustituto). En la categoría Mujeres: Lisbeth Vindas, Nataly Bernold y Veronica Quirós(sustituta); en la categoría Longboard: Diego Naranjo y Christian Santamaría (sustituto). En la categoría Booggie Women: Jimena Calvo y Cindy Díaz (sustituta) y en la categoría Booggie Men: Richard Marín, Yeffrey Gómez y Walter Gatgens (sustituto).
Casi todos estos participantes pueden ser vistos practicando en Playa Jaco y Playa Hermosa.
