| ExploreCostaRica.com KSTR |
KSTR now has a great way for you to help save Costa Rica's rainforest, not only in your own community but around the world! You too can make a difference just by helping KSTR!
KSTR’s goal of Saving the Endangered Mono Titi, is being reached by erecting monkey bridges, reforesting and making monkey corridors, placing “7 Reasons Not To Feed The Monkeys” posters all around Manuel Antonio and in the park, and by educating both kids and adults locally and around the world.
KSTR’s latest effort to save the Mono Titi and the rainforests around the world is being accomplished by building an Ecological Educational Center to teach kids and adults about saving the rainforest. It is located in the heart of Manuel Antonio and $100,000 is needed to complete the project!
KSTR would like to enlist your help to reach this goal. When you participate, you will get a certificate that says: Kids Saving The Rainforest thanks (Your name or companies name) for supporting Kids Saving The Rainforest! (Your name or companies name) is helping to make a difference in the Manuel Antonio Rainforest and Rainforests around the world. KSTR and the rainforest thank you for your support!”
Date of Certificate :The certificate that you receive will be proof that you are working to make our community, and the world, a better place to live.
You can support KSTR by using the following donation schedule, or by making a donation of your choice. Remember, we do have non-profit status (501 (C) 3), so your donation will be tax deductible in the USA.
For individuals, a $50 contribution, per year, or $200 for a 5 year certificate.
For businesses with fewer than 5 employees, the donation is $100 a year.
For businesses with 5 to 20 employees, the donation is $200.
For businesses with 20 employees and up, the donation is $300 a year.
All donations of $20 or more will receive a certificate, and donations of $100 or more, will also receive a free Kids Saving The Rainforest T-Shirt.
Show the community that you are working to make a difference by supporting KSTR.
If you can not afford to make a contribution, you can get a certificate by doing service work for KSTR. Just call 777-2592 or e-mail: jennifer@kidssavingtherainforest.org for more information on volunteering. Please check next month’s column to see how kids can become members of KSTR, just by doing service projects and writing a report about their work. There is no need for a financial donation by kids, just the willingness to help save the rainforest.
Thanks for helping us to save Costa Rica & the planet!
