The First Annual Montezuma International Film Festival takes place in Montezuma, Costa Rica

Independent filmmakers & fans (as well as those who need a vacation!) are invited to join us for the first annual Montezuma International Film Festival (MIFF) in Montezuma, Costa Rica from November 1 - 5, 2007. This exciting new event celebrates every genre of international cinema during a five day span of free film screenings, lectures, art presentations, live music, after-parties and explorations of the amazing landscapes of Costa Rica.

The MIFF has officially opened the call for entries to this exciting celebration of international cinema. MIFF accepts films from every country, of every genre and length. MIFF filmmakers and their crews are encouraged to attend MIFF for a much needed vacation and a chance to showcase their hard work to the world! *

MIFF filmmakers who attend will receive discounted rates on accommodations, food & activities* including festival dinners, horse back tours to waterfalls, boat trips to nearby islands and transportation to and from Montezuma.
