The Costa Rican Victim’s Assistance Office, which is located on 17th Street, between 6th and 8th Avenue (sixth floor) (telephone 506-295-3271), in San Jose, may be able to advise American citizens what courses of action are available to them in this case. In addition, persons who would like to lodge a criminal complaint may wish to contact the Prosecutor’s Office, located on the first floor of the same building.
