March to October there are volunteer programs for people interested in assisting scientists with turtle tagging and research. Volunteers pay $1400 to $2700 for 7 to 21 days. This includes a dorm bed, all meals and transportation from San Jose. From March to May and August to Otober, there are bird-migration programs. Cost is $1245 to $1975 for 7 to 21 days. Advance reservations for these popular projects must be made through the US office.
