You may have seen them in the stores back home, but I was introduced to this pretty fruit on my last vacation in Costa Rica.
This is a real treat! Known as Carambola, this star fruit make a great decoration for any dish. Livin up your fruit salad, use as a garnish or
enjoy it in this simple drink.

Wash and cut fruit in small chunks. Add sugar, water and ice cubes to your blender and voila! A tasty, very refrehing beverage and a good alternative to plain old lemonade!
