Playa Cocoa

Playa Cacao is located only 2 kilometers opposite Golfito, but can best be reached in 10 minutes by taxi-boat. You should be able to get a ride here for around $5 per person from one of the boat taxis down at the public docks.  With very little surf, it’s an ideal and safe place to swim. It can also be reached by walking or by car. Take an enjoyable peaceful walk through the area where you can observe the beautiful flora and fauna. There are 2 friendly local restaurants and a few  humble homes close by.
