Six Students from Costa Rica Central pacific Garabito Starting Year Off Right
For the end of the school year 2008, the Central Pacific Chamber of Commerce worked together with one of their members to establish "Miro's Most Excellent Student Reward."
Six schools from the Garabito district were chosen to participate in the pilot program and each school selected their most excellent student to receive the reward of $1,000 deposited in their name at Banco Nacional.
Congratulations goes to the following students: Pamela Castro Mena from Liceo de Quebrada Ganado; Fiorella Bogantes Dankers from Escuela Inmaculada; Mariana Vargas Muñoz from Colegio Inmaculada; Adais Maria Romero Araya from Colegio Técnico Profesional de Jaco; Dylan Rodriguez Murillo from Escuela Quebrada Ganado; and Claudia Fossatti Bonilla from Escuela Líder de Jaco. The hopes are that this education program will continue to grow and future schools can be added to the program!
SEIS ESTUDIANTES AFORTUANDOS DE LA ZONA DE GARABITO EMPEZARAN EL CURSO LECTIVO 2009 CON EL PIE DERECHO. Al final del curso lectivo 2008, la Cámara de Comercio del Pacífico Central trabajó juntos con uno de sus miembros para establecer el "Premio Miro al Mejor Estudiante del Año". Seis instituciones del cantón fueron escogidas para participar de este programa piloto donde el mejor estudiante de la institución recibió la suma de $1000 depositados en una cuenta en el Banco Nacional a su nombre.
