Costa Rica Vacation Rentals: Casa Verdugo

Sleeps 6 • 2 Bedrooms • 2 Bathrooms • Village Views

Costa Rica's Casa Verdugo Vacation Rental is nestled above the provocative port village of Quepos, gateway to Manuel Antonio National Park. This comfortable 2 bedroom home is conveniently located near the village center yet is remarkably quiet and relaxing.

A five-minute stroll takes you to countless restaurants, gift shops, the sportfishing fleet, the central market, grocery stores, tour agencies and the main beach. Nearby, buses leave for Manuel Antonio National Park every half hour. The home is auspiciously removed from the bustle of Quepos yet close enough to thoroughly enjoy village life.

The home is tastefully furnished in agriculturally-grown hardwoods.

Bedrooms: Casa Verdugo features two bedrooms. The large master bedroom has two queen size beds, a garden atrium, and an on suite bathroom, high vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans. This bedroom opens out onto the patio, with views of the village below. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, and is air-conditioned. All the furnishings are from teak and hardwoods. Ceiling fans and floor fans are also fitted throughout the home.

Bathrooms: This home has two bathrooms. The large on suite bathroom has a large "his and hers" hot shower, sink and vanity, and an attached garden atrium. The smaller bathroom also has a hot shower. The bathrooms are tiled throughout.

Kitchen: The kitchen is large, and fully-equipped with pots and pans, with gates that open to large a breakfast bar and serving station on the back patio and side patio respectively. As you cook, you look out over the patio, where you can hold pleasant conversations with those on the patio, and watch spectacular sunsets.

Garden/Patio: Casa Verdugo features a covered patio with views of the village below, trees. The patio is furnished with a teak bar overlooking the yard and the town beyond. From either of the bars, or the patio, you can marvel at the summer sunsets.

Neighborhood: Casa Verdugo is in Barrio Paraiso (the "Paradise Neighborhood") of Quepos. The home is located on a cul-de-sac in a typical Tico neighborhood, where you will be among friendly Costa Ricans, and immersed in their culture.

Very few homes are available for vacation stays in the area and even fewer offer sweeping views of the village, the rainforest of Punta Ballena and the world-class sunsets over the ocean beyond. A convenience store is just steps from the front door, perfect for any last-minute shopping or food items, or a refreshing cold soda. A public telephone is also available at the convenience store.

For Larger Groups: Casa Verdugo is just next door to Casa Bumerango, and Casa Warilla. Reserving several homes is a perfect option for larger groups.
