Surveys in by the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (Instituto Costarricense de Turismo (ICT) - found that adventure tourism is at the top of the list of Costa Rica visitors, 40 percent of which said they wanted to take a canopy tour.
ICT sources said that this means a change in the usual trend, from the milder way of exploring Costa Rica. People are looking for something different and exciting while enjoying Costa Rican nature.
