News from the Municipality of Garabito

There is "LIGHT IN THE CENTRAL PARK OF JACO".

Thanks to an agreement between the Municipality of Garabito and the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE), Jaco's Central Park is now lit at night!

Costa Rica residents and tourists can enjoy activities at night in the park. Six light posts were placed with 3 lamps each, illuminating 80% of the park.

The offices of the Municipal Police and the Center of Tourist Information also have lighting and soon there will be wireless internet connection, according to Marvin Elizondo, the Mayor of Garabito.
