Can a cup of coffee be too perfect?  Our traditional balanced Costa Rica coffee has no defects or taints. Coffee cuppers call it "clean." But there is more to a Costa Rican cup of coffee. Costa Rica is prized for its high notes: bright citrus or berry.

In order to make sure that your cup of coffee will have a good aroma and the perfect balance between acidity and body, our Costa Rica coffee farm and the neighboring producers hand pick only the ripest red coffee cherries.

Costa Rica Coffee: Processing and Milling
At Coffee Lila, we have an Ecological micro mill that ensures coffee quality control at all times. The mill also protects the environment by its controlled water usage and the appropriate disposal of organic waste. Sun drying of our Costa Rica coffee beans is a very important step and cleansing aspect because no fossil fuel combustibles are used, thus avoiding any risk of endangering the Costa Rica forest around our production plant.

Our mid roasting process ensures maximum taste, giving our Costa Rica coffee a pleasant fruity aroma, balanced acidity and body. There is no finer, more drinkable coffee than the Costa Rica coffee produced at our farms. Try a bag and you will see for yourself!
